Happy early Solstice + Cancer season, loves! It’s such a joy to be here with you.

From around June 20th to July 20th, the sun will be in Cancer, and during that time, we will be moving through and working with the Tarot energies that are connected to Cancer, as well as the Tarot energies that showed up for us in our collective Tarot reading for Cancer season.

Our Tarot energies for Cancer Season

  • The Chariot, ruled by Cancer

A gentle, emotionally-laden heads up that we are outgrowing something, and need to “hatch” out of a too-tight container.

  • The High Priestess, ruled by the Moon, which rules Cancer

An invitation to get quiet and go within – a call to touch in with our intuition and our inner wisdom.

  • Queen of Cups, which in Soul Tarot is ruled by Cancer

A deep call for space, inner peace, and retreat – when we receive this card, we really want to heed its message.

Which card feels most resonant for you as we embark on Cancer season?

Our card for Cancer season: Nine of Swords

Cancer season is bringing about big change to our personal lives.

Things are starting to move, shift, expand, come together. It’s so much of what we’ve been wishing and waiting for – a truly dream-like scenario for many folks.

It also must be acknowledged that with significant expansions, wishes coming to fruit and things beginning to flow after long periods of stagnation, there will inevitably be contraction.

Because of that, we can expect to tend to big fears and what ifs in Cancer season. What if the rug gets ripped out from under us? What if it all goes away? What if our heart gets broken, or we’re supremely disappointed? What if we fail?

It’s important not to attempt to avoid or bypass these feelings. Again, they are going to arrive and arise in life, and will most likely show up during Cancer season. The key to skillfully working with this energy is appreciating why it’s showing up, and cultivating support for our process around it.
