Today’s post is a simple, but potent offering: a Tarot spread devoted to helping us to release the energies of 2024, and open to the invitations of 2025.

We can engage with this Tarot spread now, even on December 9th, or we can wait until December 31st. You might consider engaging with it now, as it can be so useful to begin to feel into the frequency of the transition and change from one year into another as early as possible.

As I dive into in The Threshold, the shift from a Strength year (2024) to a Hermit year (2025) is big, but not the hairiest transition, as far as our year cards go. Considering how choppy and intense 2025 is likely to be, this is a humble win.

Despite knowing that, it can still be helpful to lean into a framework that can give us a more bespoke, personalized sense of what that transition might look and feel like for us. What might it mean for us to let go of the “lion,” and clear out a Strength year? What Tarot anchors might be of support to us within the transition?
